Pros
WEX pays fairly well in terms of base wages. They also have decent employee benefits, and quite a broad range of them.
Cons
*The strict disciplinary procedures can have the unintended effect of not improving performance, but rather causing employees to feel they're being singled out for increased scrutiny, ever-increasing criticism, and/or individually targeted discipline, This has resulted in some employees' feeling they're merely being set up for failure. *System/application changes can tend to be rolled out with very short notice. Oftentimes, due to widespread technical issues that can result from this "rapid change" approach, it appears to front-line employees that the changes have not had the time to be fully vetted by the appropriate teams and/or individuals prior to being rolled out. This can therefore result in some employees' experiencing great levels of stress, frustration, and discontent with the pace of change at WEX.
