Pros
WG&R/ August Haven is a great company with an amazing culture. The people are what makes us such a great place to build a career. The CEO takes the time to meet with the teams, understand the challenges at the store level and address ideas and concerns in a timely manner. Through all the disruptions the pandemic has caused in the global supply chain, the massive increases in the consumer demand for products, our buying team has worked endless hours to secure furniture and products from existing vendors and forging new relationships to get our customers the products they want faster than any of our competitors. I love the open door policy here where you can reach out and chat with any leader and share comments, questions and concerns. There is a great “people first” culture that is palpable the minute you go through orientation. There is growth opportunities at all levels throughout the organization if you are willing to work hard. Giving back is a huge part of why I came on board. WG&R donates hundreds of beds to children in need through our “Brighter Dreams” initiative as well as other helping other local charities to support the needs of the people of the town we live in. I am very happy with my decision to join WG&R/ August Haven.
Cons
