Pros

It's a job, and a paycheck. If your single and hate your freetime, this may be perfect for you.

Cons

Hard workers are punished. Seniority means nothing. If they can count on you they will give you the worst broken down truck and the worst route. While new hires are given brand new trucks and are home by noon. Wife had a miscarriage and I was written up and talked to for taking the day to be with her at the hospital. Management is a joke, run by someone who has never driven a route in their life. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose major contracts soon due to mismanagement. Wages are a joke. They wonder why no one wants to work for pennies during a labor shortage. It's not rocket science, raise your starting wage to pay more than mcdonalds and you'll get employees. There is no room to grow. You will never receive a significant raise or promotion. They like to fill management positions with people who never actually did the job. Expect to work 6 days a week for the foreseeable future.
