Pros
Benefits are great, I have it all Medical, prescription, 401k, dental, vision, life insurance for not only me but kids as well, legal, hsa. Can even buy PTO time, if it wasn't for this and not many job opportunities where I'm at I would leave the company honestly.
Cons
The environment is tense, every call is recorded so you have to be almost perfect as in what needs to be read. You have a base salary and bonus, but if you miss one of the spectrums you can lose over $2000 in sales that you made the company. If you don't make 40% of people who are over 65 years old enroll online then you can lose your bonus. If we don't sell a percentage of protection plans which are like AFLAC plans you don't get your bonus, if you don't pass your QM's which is you reading what needs to be read verbatim you don't get your bonus and if a customer doesn't give you good ratings then mind you could lose 10 to almost 100% of your bonus. Mind you when during AEP which is a certain time of year for folks to enroll they can be waiting all day to reach someone. Try and tell me you can persuade them to give good surveys. The company is dillusional when it comes to keeping their employees happy as more is being put on our plates to sell more, from funeral expense plans to travel plans, mind you I started out selling just Medicare. Then those who are now coming into the company they are giving them $3 more an hour. I'm just saying if you don't want to anger your employees you don't send this out in an email. They think everyone should just go along with whatever.
