      Pros

      Good starting point for news broadcasting. Great coworkers

      Cons

      Pay starts at minimum wage for a lot. Even those with master's degree only start below $50k. News Director is basically a mannequin at a desk. GM has false expectations. Be prepared to be overworked and underpaid.

      Easy to get employed (they hire anyone with a pulse and then just weed them out later)

      Cons

      You receive very little feedback on your performance. Criticism of your work will be treated like high school gossip behind your back rather than being constructively presented to you.
