Solitude. Never saw my "boss", I think my closest field supervisor (who was more of a liaison than a boss) was somewhere a state away, I don't think I met him in the 3 years I was assigned to him. Weekend work depends on where you are, I was in the southwest, so my hours were lower and I never did weekends. When I lived in a centrally located midwest state I did a lot of weekend work, but like I said, overtime is nice too. This was as a service tech. An install tech has a more structured schedule, that changes from every few weeks, to multiple months at the same job site. You will live in a hotel, and have steady work, quite often including overtime.
