Pros

I absolutely loved my time working for Walters Hospitality. The culture and team aspect is super young, friendly, and casual. I loved working with brides while also making good money and enjoying the team I worked with. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the upper management. The company is always changing and be quite reactive instead of proactive. Company is very open to feedback, but doesn't do much to change after that feedback. If they put more money into caring for their employees instead of constantly expanding, I think they'd get to where they want to be and be able to stay there and keep employees around longer! Overall amazing job, just not the most sustainable long-term.

Cons

No gas compensation Work life balance can be hard to manage

Pros

Unlimited PTO and flexible schedule (usually). Working in the wedding industry was rewarding.

Cons

Communication and transparency were inconsistent. Expectations often changed quickly, making it difficult to prioritize and understand long-term career growth opportunities. Employment was unexpectedly terminated, I was not placed on a PIP nor was I informed of any performance concerns that would have indicated my position was at risk. No salary adjustments for 1.5 years while being told to not expect any for 2026... yet there were funds for new hires, new venues, baseball games, etc...
