Pros
I am proud to say that Ware Malcomb is the place where my Interior Design Career has started. This company has provided a lot of support, has taught me a great amount and gave me various opportunities to learn more about the industry. The leadership team that manages all Canadian offices is incredible. We are constantly encouraged to pursue our goals and are given various opportunities. The staff at all departments are friendly and are always willing to help. I have the pleasure of working with the interiors team, which consists of well experienced and supportive members who are always eager to welcome new designers and leaders. I highly recommend joining our Ware Malcomb team, you will find it easy to adapt to our work culture. We work hard and keep our clients happy, but we also know how to have fun! I'm very excited say that our Vaughan team moved into a new office! We are all very eager to adapt to this new workplace with lots of new amenities (not to mention our new foosball table! in our lunchroom).
Cons
One challenge that I faced when I joined Ware Malcomb, is having to adapt to a fast pace workload, which was something I was not used to. I found a lot of people facing the same challenge. While it may have been tough, I found Ware Malcomb did a great job helping me transition into my role. I quickly learned how to organize myself and set my tasks. Every job comes with challenges, but Ware Malcomb offers many resources to help everyone adapt quickly and feel comfortable.
