Pros
1. Super transparent, mostly! Decisions are usually really well-explained and hashed out. See cons 2. The product is awesome, and the tech is always evolving! 3. Lots of chances to move around and grow; people get promoted and switch teams a lot. 4. It's pretty chill for a growing company. Lots of fun activities, offsites, and good food. 5. The teams are really talented and nice 6. It's Google! The internal tools can be a bit much, but they do a ton.
Cons
Every pro has its twin con: 1. Super secretive and paranoid about security. You rarely hear any internal news unless it's about to drop. 2. Everyone's nice, but maybe *too* professional. I barely see any real friendships forming, which might be a positive for you, idk. 3. Google's tools and mindset. It's a slow, heavy lift, missing some basic stuff, and there's a ton of paperwork.
