Pros
Satisfactory income. Decent work/Life balance. Systems and procedures that are in place are very good in comparison to other builders in the industry.
Cons
The list of cons looking back is so long, that I am not sure I can get it all in here. High turnover rate at all WH locations. The company gives you a line of BS about having integrity and how they are "invested" in the employees, but when push comes to shove, if you bring an ethical issue forward, it is either ignored, or you are left to deal with it on your own. I personally was let go because I got into an argument with my superior about stealing from the company. She then made up lies about me being insubordinate, and hence I got fired without anyone ever looking into the whole situation. I had worked hard for this company and bought into their lies in regard to caring about their employees and having integrity. I tried to do the right thing, and no one even bothered to hear my side of the story - they just fired me without cause. Some of you reading this may think that there has got to be more to the story but their isn't. I was never written up, and was actually given an award for my work only 5 months prior. Also had good reviews at all employee assessments. Upper Management has no clue who is actually working hard for their company at satellite offices. They actually have a review at each end of year asking if you have a "friend" that you can go to in the company. HA! I was left out on an island with a deceptive, manipulative boss, and no one to go to. When you go to work for them, they will try to make you drink the kool aid, but don't believe it. You are on your own.
