Pros
Each program is like a family. Working as one happens often. The health benefits are amazing, which is the main reason I'm still there. Outpatient recently changed it's entire structure to one that promises to show true progress. Our Day Hospital and Inpatient services are often coveted and specifically requested because the lower level employees are excellent and truly care.
Cons
A majority of the programs are not self-sufficient which decreases efficiency across multiple programs. Most upper management is incompetent, inefficient, and ineffective. They only care about money but they're really bad at making it. There is at least one actual psychopath among them who runs her department using fear and threats. Plenty falsification of documentation, provided something was actually documented. Patient care is not only ignored but patients are often knowingly put in harms way. Employees only matter when they start making waves. They are placed in highly dangerous situations and then fired for expressing their concern. Many employees have been fired in order to cover up malpractice and/or various scandals. The wrong people tend to be promoted. Employee engagement surveys consistently show that employees are regularly being asked to do things they believe are unethical and/or that go against their personal morals. An overall pretty terrible environment, especially for people who care about other people. Do not work here if you are someone who cares...about anything. Also, raises are a joke. There's no mathematical explanation for them.
