Pros
The company had some really talented folks in all areas: Product, Dev, UI/UX, Marketing, Biz Dev. Everyone was aware it was an early stage startup, still willing to roll up the sleeves, problem solve, be client facing, and find solutions.
Cons
Lack of clarity on role accountability. The President hired me, but I reported to someone else, and was given goals by yet another person. The executives were senior management based on "if s/he was a friend," not based on skills or merit. That made things complicated.
