Pros
The patients need so much help that you feel you are making a difference in their lives. The fellow staff is pleasant to work with and do their best to show appreciation to one another. The hours are conducive to family life for the most part which makes most people stay despite how they feel there.
Cons
Terrible management- completely not approachable. If you bring up a concern or question it will never be taken seriously much less will anyone really even care what you think. You will be talked down to the second you speak up regarding anything. You are never recognized for good work no matter how hard you work. The pay is below average. Raises-far and few between yet more and more work and responsibility is expected. The company does not have great management of money so you feel very little security with your job. The physicians want what is best for their pockets not the patients or staff. They took PTO from all employees when it snowed and the clinic did not open- unheard of anywhere I have ever been- which PTO accrual is already so little as it is- yet the physicians have unlimited. Cut pay in half when COVID hit yet volume did not change much for long. If you got COVID all of your PTO was taken also despite not having any control over the situation and it did not matter if you were exposed at work still taking your time. Morale is always low. The satellite sites are very forgotten and the focus is on the main site at Wolf River near the "richer" parts of town. They hire incompetent people to handle important jobs and could care less how they do as long as there is a body filling the position.
