I have been with westjet several years on the front lines and they couldn't care less about employees anymore. I used to love my job. Now I hate my job. They nit-pick until you feel very small and try to keep you down so they don't lose people until they are ready to lose them. If the Moncton call centre ever succeeds like they are hoping, then we, in Calgary, are sitting ducks while they attempt to document evidence against us so that when they don't need us we can be fired, as the new call centre in Moncton pays employees at least $6/hr less. Its insulting that upper management thinks we don't understand this, and It's disheartening that the team leaders are falling for this pressure and not realizing they are also putting their own jobs in jeopardy by putting their employees on the chopping block. I will be glad to move on when I recover some of my lost self esteem. This job has already cost me way too much of my mental well being.
