Pros

Great colleagues who are caring creative and hard workers, remote work environment, decent benefits.

Cons

The culture of this place has turned for the worse. I get the need for a changes needing to happen to grow a business, but the way it is happening is unsustainable because of the new leader's lack of trust, severe unprofessionalism... and her constant intimidation. People are operating out of fear because of the new head of the global brand partnerships organization's hostile and fear mongering tactics and it is trickling down to everyone... even the most junior... as a result. It starts at the top. Everyone is absolutely afraid to share their work or their point of view anymore because of her tyrannic way of managing which is stifling innovation and creativity. I am working harder than I ever have... even way past my working hours or weekends when it is not necessary or urgent.. and my mental health has taken such a toll. You are only under her good graces if you are one of her favorites who cannot do wrong even if you are wrong. I feel sad and worried for the future of this company, and all the great people who have contributed to its future.

Pros

- genuine coworkers who care about what they're doing - billed as remote-first - flexible scheduling

Cons

- entirely disorganized mess under the hood - leadership has absolutely no idea what they're doing and have created a demand-driven culture where only results matter and time and process are non-existent concerns - I mentioned remote-first as a pro, but apparently the moment you aren't able to meet your coworkers or attend an event, even with legitimate reasons, you are no longer seen as a real team member - middle management does not know how to manage their direct reports - the organization is split between a few countries, and they've been that way since the early days. you would think that would mean they would know how to work across timezones and sync/async properly, but that's far from the truth. I had even asked members of the people team about this and they also expressed the same concerns. - at least in my experience, there was no real onboarding and no a available documentation to help learn about the company/product teams. it made for a very uncomfortable experience. - pay scale is way lower than expected especially in the US
