Pros

Remote policy Good autonomy (if you don’t report directly to the CEOs) They give you a good MacBook (not sure that this is a pro) Young mood

Cons

No mid-long term strategy for the company No carrier path CEOs do micromanagement, especially on irrelevant stuff HR department is really inefficient Inexistent onboarding The technical level, overall, is lower compared to other gaming companies Managers role is just asking “Why?” every time a problem pops out, they have no clue about product management

Pros

The first thing you notice at Whatwapp is the positive and friendly vibe. People are approachable, supportive, and genuinely fun to work with. There's a strong sense of collaboration and openness. Ideas and feedback are always welcome, no matter your role. It's also a place where good work gets recognized. If you take initiative and deliver, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to grow. There’s no need to play politics. What matters is the impact you make. Another big plus is the healthy work-life balance. The company trusts people to manage their time well, and there’s a shared understanding that burnout helps no one. It’s a sustainable pace that still leaves room to push when it matters.

Cons

The company is growing and evolving quickly, which means things can change often (priorities, processes, even roles). It keeps things exciting, but it also means you need to be comfortable with change and ready to adapt.

Pros

Good people (trapped in a bad company)

Cons

- No career growth opportunities - they will keep your compensation at a bare minimum level impossible to survive on in Milan, gaslighting you to believing it's your own fault. - The CEOs are committing multiple obvious mistakes in their decisions and never take the responsibility for their errors (but blaming the workers for every small misstep) - Almost all of the positive 4 and 5 star Glassdoor reviews are written by the marketing team

No one is trapped in a company, we will support anyone who wants to leave with CV and application advice. - No career growth opportunities - they will keep your compensation at a bare minimum level impossible to survive on in Milan, gaslighting you to believing it’s your own fault. 69.5% of employees who have been with the company for 2 or more years have been promoted, and several employees have shifted their professional focus, people grow upwards and have the chance to change direction. We also have low turnover, currently 12.5%, which is almost half the industry norm. Whatwapp pay-levels are closely aligned with Milan levels, Glassdoor has plenty of data showing what other companies at similar career levels pay. We also share company revenues and costs openly in every monthly meeting so everyone in the company is aware of the margins the business works to. - The CEOs are committing multiple obvious mistakes in their decisions and never take the responsibility for their errors (but blaming the workers for every small misstep) We’re one of the small number of mobile games companies growing in an extremely tough market, when most are having large lay-offs.
