Pros
You will likely not find many other modern-ish tech companies local to the central coast. New office space in downtown, though parking can be a bit annoying since it's a dense area. Workers themselves are generally kind, open, smart, and helpful.
Cons
Insane loss of talent, it feels like we have lost nearly all of our already small pool of employees due to them being fired or leaving on their own due to problems with leadership. Employees individually dropped over the last few months until the recent wave of firings and employees leaving. Current engineering leadership micromanages, acts on impulses, has next to no strategy for tracking tasks and objectives, and talks unprofessionally about employees both in public and behind other employees backs. Unprofessional and (in some cases) abusive treatment from engineering leadership. HR and leadership unwilling to act on employee concerns. Low pay, any talks of pay raises were perpetually pushed back. No sort of performance review process or other method to understand how raises or promotions will work. Often expected to work and respond after hours and participate in arbitrary crunch times. Diversity is lacking, especially in upper management. Culture is par the course for defense, avoid if you are uncomfortable with a bit of xenophobia here and there. Completely disorganized. I could list issues for years, but I will spare readers the time. I would not recommend choosing this as your place of employment.
