Pros

Your fellow employees are fun to be around, mainly because you all agree on the things that happen there. Once I gave my schedule, they didn't break off of it too often.

Cons

You are hired for one position at minimum wage, then expected to do 3 other jobs on top. The main floor manager told me that they don't do any kind of performance reviews, because if they are positive the upper management doesn't want to give out raises. The owner is crazy. Its like he has no idea what is going on. Everyone runs and hides because all he wants to do is yell at people when he is there. Maybe once he said something nice to me in the year or so I was there. Some of the upper management, especially one of them that works in an office on the 2nd level say and do things that are EXTREMELY inappropriate. This is a Garyvee company, that runs the opposite of everything he says in his videos. Not saying I expected it, but when it comes to simple human interaction, it is far from anything he preaches.

Pros

Fun customers and coworkers. Great products for sale. Really great networking opportunities with vendors and producers. You get to taste some pretty fantastic beverages and foods that you would't normally have access to.

Cons

Forces work staff to work 60-80hrs a week during holidays, taking days off away the day before workers are to have them and extending hours without letting the staff know until 5mins before they were to close. No discounts for employees. The atmosphere is drenched in fear and manipulation from the management. Whistling indoors is enough to get fired. Really negative environment with a ton of apathy from those that have learned how to navigate it. The unreasonability and manipulation takes it's toll on everyone emotionally and physically. The best way to do well here is to leave your backbone and integrity at home. It's definitely a "if you can't beat them, join them" sort of place.
