Pros

I have been working with Wize for almost 2 years now, and they have been a pleasure to work with! I started off as a Marketing Representative and with some hard work and communication with management, I was able to support Wize in other areas that were more suited with my interests. Wize allows you to put as much into it as you can, and they will provide you with all of the resources and support you need to succeed. Wize welcomes new ideas and feedback, and the flexibility of creating your own hours and the opportunity for advancement is well suited for the fast-paced life of a student. If you are looking for a job that will only add to your university experience, this is the one!

Cons

All great companies have things to work on. The marketing representative role can be a little repetitive and inconsistent depending on your schedule, although Wize does offer many other opportunities to get involved with their company as long as you show an interest! Overall, there are not many negative things to say about Wize, they are the best at what they do and if you work here you will experience it for yourself.

Pros

Flexible work. Well developed software.

Cons

The expected course revenues for my courses were extremely inaccurate and disappointing. The wize modo is to make EXAM like material so you will have to create your own exam like questions/figures, especially for engineering courses. The questions available through the platform are not EXAM like. Hired as an independent contractor but had to wear a wize shirt and use their platform, contradictory to what the IRS considers as an independent contractor. It was not communicated to me that the midterm exam prep course will be offered for FREE.
