Pros
Nice offices with good facilities Good vibes if you drink the Kool-Aid
Cons
Wonderbly pride themselves on doing a lot with a little. Impressive, until all your underpaid junior to mid level employees are burning themselves out trying to achieve goals that constantly change with minimal communication. The CEO is a liability. Feels like there's a clean-up operation every time he opens his mouth in front of his people. Two sides to this: on one hand, he wants to be everyone's buddy and bring the vibes. Yaaaay! Shots! On the other, he shows mockery and open contempt for his staff when they express concerns about (eg) return to office, doomed product launches, health & safety, a documented culture of sexism, and so on. Middle managers (Heads of / VP) are often glorified administrators for their superiors in the C suite. Especially if female. It's been mentioned in other reviews that there is one exec who is a known bully. If you raise a concern about this you're told he's a "necessary evil". How we laugh! If there have ever been consequences for his direct harassment of female and minority ethnic individuals, racist and misogynistic comments and generally sh*tty behaviour, they're a better kept secret than the behaviours themselves. If this business gains the B-Corp accreditation it's been devoting so much time and effort to, it says more about the credibility of B-Corp than it does about Wonderbly.
