Pros

Most employees are young and a chance is given to green talent to kick-start careers.

Cons

Constant empty promises for career development. Management is very secretive about what's happening in the company. HR is not your friend and you risk that sharing with them will end up to management. Also, they create gossip and talk about candidates out loud in the office. Embarrassing candidates in interviews. Unrealistic targets were set without support to achieve them. No training, no structure is provided. Management is present in the office, but not friendly. It feels like they are constantly breathing in your neck.

Pros

There aren't many positive aspects remaining. The company used to have really skilled and nice workers, but most of them have left now.

Cons

No strategy or long-term vision whatsoever. Woomio was once a fantastic place to work. The structure and strategy were quite good for a startup, but most importantly, there were plenty of talented and hardworking people who believed in Woomio's vision and future. Things weren't perfect, but with a positive atmosphere and people willing to go the extra mile, the future looked bright. Fast forward to December 2022, where many employees were laid off, and everything fell apart. The company let go of many valuable employees from essential departments, reducing them to almost nothing. How you worked or how crucial you were to the company seemed to matter little, as these layoffs appeared to be based on favoritism. The sales team was left without support. The entire sales and customer success strategy relied on a random idea with no indication that it would work. When this eventually failed, Woomio spent months betting on short-term ideas based on nothing but gut feelings. There was no marketing team left. The CS team was constantly overworked. Every few weeks, a new "strategy" (lacking a better word) was introduced, and before there was even time to test it, a new idea was already in the works. Every month since, new people have been fired, and morale has plummeted. The product isn't working, there's still no strategy or middle management to support employees, and somehow, the leadership always finds ways to blame everything else but themselves.
