Pros
1. Handling projects independently at all levels
Cons
1. Outdated product that we are supposed to shove down the throats of prospects/customers. At all times we are trying to justify the product because it can hardly do anything which can be differentiated. 2. The ‘Leadership’ sits in its own bubble, far from the ground reality. They think of their product as Microsoft’s and their services as McKinsey; whereas on ground most of their customers take their services for granted. The pace is in which the product is evolving can be compared to the speed of dial-up internet. Oh Sorry! There is no evolution - It is just patch work. 3. ‘Leadership’ thinks employees do no value add, company is running because of the spectacular product. A lot of clients showcased by the company are no more their clients. Rest of them which have stayed are because of people who work with these clients. 4. Company believes in churning people, the attrition rate in this organisation is baffling. 5. People do not understand the concept of ‘weekends’, ‘worklife balance’ etc. The company does not believe in team work, only individual contributors who are boot lickers are appreciated. 6. No brand value in market. No one recognises the company name. Your exit options might be limited once you are in this company. 7. There is no strategy/ vision/ way forward. Every year the leadership, company structure & strategy changes 8. You are judged for everything you do – drink, smoke. People are quick to pass personal remarks. 9. After all these negatives, if you think the company should at least pay you well, then you are wrong. They are worst when it comes to remuneration. Expect no bonuses, no variable pay & pathetic fixed salary.
