Pros
Hourly pay is good (when you get your check), satisfaction of helping students learn new life skills and being a mentor, working with disabled students
Cons
Hours worked may not be what was initially discussed (nor the total of hours), lack of communication & help from mngmnt, paperwork keeps getting returned- pushing payday back (2months before I ever got paid), no backing from mngmnt with parents, once student has met goals and you are no longer needed- you do not pick up and drop off (parents need to know this soon so they can make arrangments to take student to work) again lack of communication and puts on you to tell parents and then they are mad at you-Workready did not back coach up and let parent know its part of contract, as coach you are the middle person between the parent, work assignment, Workready TX and Texas workforce (it gets frustrating when everyone tells you something different), paperwork needs to be worded as your supervisor wants it (keep all your printouts from training- no one to help you again with it, just tells you its wrong and redo)
