Pros
WorkWave is going through a reset period to achieve company goals in which an exceptional set of senior leaders were hired to shape the direction of the company. This senior leadership team is highly competent, coming from diverse backgrounds and has been taking pragmatic action. They actively respond to feedback and pivot strategies when presented with compelling rationale to do so. This leadership team has taken an active stance on hiring new leadership and IC roles that have brought a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the organization creating many opportunities to learn and advance your own skill set. Pay is mid-tier for the tech industry, which is counterbalanced against a robust remote-first working environment which is becoming harder and harder to come by. Salary ranges are relative to the skill set brought into the organization. My own chain of leadership shows great care for those in their charge - which is a rarity in the modern workplace. I feel trusted to take on personal development opportunities, and am provided with consistent challenges that enable the learning of skills that are beneficial to my career trajectory.
Cons
With any transformation and change, there comes detractors to that change, especially if there is a perceived benefit to the status-quo. There's no exception here, as the previous culture enabled a lack of responsibility and accountability which a subset of team members took advantage of, often in unethical ways. This is creating a temporary uncomfortable dynamic between those benefiting from being invisible to accountability and those brought in with the directive to create accountability structures. I would advise anyone reading overtly negative reviews about WorkWave to consider the challenges inherent in this change, and take those reviews with degree of skepticism, particularly the reviews that read as specifically targeted. These seem indicative of a personal axe to grind in which having an identified villain of the author's story allows them to not look in the mirror to consider what behaviors and actions led them to the place they are at, and not a representation of WorkWave.
