Pros

Nice architecture, art, quiet campus, can be fun, new CEO

Cons

Angry, disenfranchised and abused employees are forced out and labeled disgruntled. Board of directors uses bully pulpit to drive rifts between departments. Took 2 years to hire a CEO

Pros

Unique environment, opportunities to work and network with different people, great for people who like every day to be a little different and especially great for aspiring artists of every kind

Cons

There were some disgruntled employees but frankly now that they're gone and we have a new CEO I expect moral to improve. There is more lifting and moving stuff around than most jobs but when everybody pitches in it's not so bad.

Pros

Beautiful Campus! A very diverse group of artists.

Cons

Leadership. Micromanagement to the nth degree. Not listening to senior staff or to anyone for that manner. Always in a budget crises. Need to make more money and need to spend less: unless you're the CEO who spends money like it grows on trees. And the addition of a minigolf course on campus that is ugly, takes up valuable space, and cost the Workhouse a lot of money that could have gone to other projects, staff salaries or new hires to right size staffing. Also, and as previously mentioned, the board seems to be a split personality. Half are just there to add the position to their CV's and turn a blind eye to the many issues, and the other half that control everything. Including a legitimate sexual harassment investigation that resulted in little more than a hand slap.
