Pros
The small business "family" vibe really grows on you, but it can feel unreal at first. The pay is very competitive, the ability to work remotely is wonderful, performance bonuses are nice, and competitive benefits. They have free snacks and drinks available regularly and they even installed a charging station for an employee who has an electric car! The director of my department has been great during my tenure and always makes himself available for questions, concerns, and guidance. He listens to and values our opinions even when they run contrary to his. It really feels like a team effort on a daily basis. There are new challenges almost every day, so you never get bored. Management recognizes that this can be a fast paced work environment at times and encourages taking time off to refresh and avoid burnout. They make you feel valued as a contributor to the company and as a human being.
Cons
The bathrooms are always kept clean and fully operational, but there is very little sound proofing and no fans. The parking lot can be a hassle on days when a majority of our employees are in the office for meetings.
