The practices established at IFC often set the global standard for others to emulate. Consequently, working for a company like IFC comes with great responsibility and challenge.
Cons
The ambitious goals are not always matched by the necessary approval for increasing staff headcount, which adds pressure to already busy schedules. This often leads to a dilemma between leaving high-impact work unfinished or stretching the team's limited resources. Additionally, the inherent rigidity of a bank can hinder or slow down innovation, which can be frustrating at times.
