Pros

There are none it is a MLM scam

Cons

Folks this is just another MLM scam. They try to package it as a HYBRID company. They take the best of MLM programs and don't use the bad parts. Well that's impossible to pull off. Just like any other MLM the product you are selling is either overpriced or junk. Since this is in a regulated field with required licenses, the product are legit from legit insurance companies. They are just way overpriced compared to what someone can buy from a reputable broker. The office I was in had furniture and desks that looked like it came from the worst second hand store ever. The walls were covered with achievement plaques and trophies were everywhere. When you interview with them they will never discuss the product. They keep pushing you to team building mode. When you ask about training to learn the financial planning part of the job again they spin it back to team building and that the products are so simple they sell themselves. They will not let you look at any of the products. I didn't see any brochures or sales literature for any mutual funds or insurance, nor did I see anywhere it could be stored in this office. No computers on desks. No tv s with CNBC playing . Nothing that says we sell financial products. What you see is everything that says we sell MLM team building. If you haven't experienced losing money with an MLM you will be drawn into this scam very easy. I have had my own business for 30 yrs. I was looking for something else to do in retirement since I love talking to people. Take my advice and run the other way.

Pros

Strong Support & Mentorship The leadership typically provides mentors and upline sponsors who guide agents as they start. This mentorship can help with goal setting, sales strategies, and accountability. . Flexible Schedule As an agent, I had the freedom to build my business on my own terms. If you value flexibility and being your own boss, WFG supports that.

Cons

Commission-Based Compensation Compensation is heavily commission-based with no steady base pay, especially early on. This can make income unpredictable, particularly in the first 6–12 months. High Learning Curve While training exists, a lot of success depends on self-study, persistence, and trial/error in the field. Some find this challenging without strong prior sales experience.
