Pros
The people are some of the best I ever worked with and will be sorely missed
Cons
- Leadership has never been trustworthy. Any mention of the company doing better or moving upwards has been a lie and reflected in each round of layoffs
- Due to said layoffs, the remaining employees have been forced to take on more and more responsibilities outside of their expertise without the pay or title being proportional to the workload
- Adding to the above, career pathing is nebulous and prone to changing with no concrete plan on how to move up
- The software is okay at most and bad on average
- The push for AI usage has led to more errors than positive impacts in efficiency or quality. To include it as part of the performance review as well? Not great
- Good , hardworking people constantly leaving due to the work environment eroding
- The burnout I experienced here has been the worst. I wake up feeling dread every day because of how little job security I felt
Not saying it's great to get laid off, but I look back at the company and feel sorry for what it's become and will not miss it. I will only miss the people I got to work with who made my days bearable and hope they can get out to do something better too
