Pros
The benefits are fairly on par with that of any large company. There are travel benefits and the leadership provides extra give away from time to time (gift cards, prizes, hotel stays, etc). They are very big about employee engagement and keeping employees happy. They will listen to complaints from employees (even if they are stupid) and hear them out. The couple supervisors who actually know what to do and do their jobs well will help you and will be supportive. They are the only ones who know anything about collections and how to do the job.
Cons
The leadership in the call center is a joke for the most part. There are a couple good supervisors, but there are others who should not be in their positions. The managers do not know anything about what the people on the phones actually do, and makes decisions without thinking how it affects the people on the phones. You have some supervisors who really try to help and do their job, but then you have other supervisors who do not know anything and bully you and make very inappropriate comments. It can be very uncomfortable at times. The managers only got their jobs because they were either buddies of the new director or because the previous director didn't care. Either way, neither manager is a good leader. Both are very much "do this because I told you too." One manager makes awkward comments that are semi-inappropriate and the other is very much "the good old boys club" mentality. I guess it's because the supervisors are all female and he thinks he can talk down to them, even though some of them are more qualified to do his job then he is. The new director came in talking about all these positive changes, but at the end of the day, it's all about who she likes and let's people In Las Vegas call all the shots. It's really sad, because many of my co-workers and myself try to do a good job but you constantly hear how you won't be considered if you don't have your college degree, even if you have great potential. I know they always say that and you see the supervisors trying to get their degrees and it's probably because they are being forced to do it to keep their jobs. The HR department is a joke too. Even if you have many many many examples and witnesses to verbal abuse and bully behavior, they will allow it to continue and not stop it.
