Working for XACT is like working for a family company. Running and maintaining a small business is hard work and we have struggled to say the least ... with scars to prove it. But we keep going and we never lose; we win or we learn. Even at XACT’s most challenging times, the management team has always made decisions with the employee in mind first and foremost. I can testify to that. XACT took a chance on a poor kid from Baltimore, taught and mentored me, made it OK to mess up just so long as I learned — and I am so grateful for that. Small business isn’t easy or convenient. There’s no big corporation backing you up or helping to keep the lights on. It takes grit and determination and making tough calls ... sometimes even with very few options.
