Pros

Cons
Low pay compared to competitors
Pros
As a 30 going on 40 geek, working at the ServiceDesk for Xylos is like coming home to the mothership. Everybody strives to deliver the best service we can to our customers, but nothing stops you from having some atypical fun along the way. Working on a Lego project or playing a quick round of MarioKart during the breaks is not just fun, it reinforces the idea that we are all friend, who happen to have to same professional goals. The no nonsense environment makes sure everybody knows their part and can put in their 5cents when discussing an issue. It really doesn't matter if you are talking to the CEO, Operations Manager or an intern: if think you have something to contribute, speak up and you will be appreciated for the effort (even if the idea doesn't hold up). Immediately you are part of the family, and not just between office hours. My family and I hit a rough patch this summer with water damage because of a flood. After a week with lots of cleaning and insurance troubles, Saturday morning we got a breakfast box delivered at our home, from Xylos. Just to remind us that we were not alone in this. I really hope we can continue to grow and recruit so more people can share the experience
Cons
Antwerp, Herentals, Brussels, Gent... We really should find some office space in the east. Travel time (for the days you are needed in the office) can be to much for some people.
Pros

From its innovative products to its dynamic culture, Xylos is a shining example of what can be achieved when a team of passionate individuals come together to pursue a shared vision. What makes Xylos truly special, however, is its people. The team at Xylos is made up of some of the most talented and friendly individuals you'll ever meet. They are always eager to collaborate, share ideas, and support each other in any way they can.. At Xylos, everyone is encouraged to think outside the box and take risks, which has led to some truly incredible achievements. Whether it's developing groundbreaking new software or launching a successful marketing campaign, Xylos is always pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Cons
Xylos is a company that values freedom and creativity, allowing its employees to take ownership of their work and explore new ideas without strict guidelines. While this freedom can be exhilarating and empowering, it can also be scary. At Xylos, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to work. Each employee is encouraged to chart their own course and explore their own unique ideas, which can be both liberating and intimidating. With this freedom comes the responsibility of making the right decisions and taking ownership of one's work. For some employees, the lack of strict guidelines and oversight can be unsettling, as they may feel unsure of what is expected of them or how to proceed. However, Xylos provides ample support and resources for its employees to help them navigate this uncertainty and make informed decisions. Overall, the freedom at Xylos is a great asset that allows employees to truly excel and create innovative solutions. However, it can also be a daunting prospect that requires a certain level of confidence and self-assuredness. Those who thrive in this environment are able to leverage the freedom to explore their own ideas, take risks, and achieve great success.
