Pros
The hours are good and I have a good team. Good benefits
Cons
Very outdated mentality in regards to corporate culture, no prospect of future growth/promotion within the role and little support from management to resolve issues. Training is minimal. Most people are half-trained by a person who is filling in after someone left so a LOT of information is not relayed and when you ask for help, the more knowledgeable people either ignore you or try to pawn you off on someone else. Pay scale does not keep up with current inflation and cost of living in my state. No bonuses the last two years and annual raises have been less than a dollar. Negative views on remote work for jobs that could 100% be done remotely and some managers will give a hard time about flexing hours to accommodate doctor appointments, etc. Most people in management have been here 25-30 years and seem a little out of touch with why they're not filling the positions they've been trying to hire for, but they're not offering people financial or work-life incentives to join or stay.
