Pros

Perhaps the investment on systems and platforms is the only thing i can think of. Pay is regular, transparent and there is ease of process. Travel and stay in fancy places across the world - although employees/consultants are pretty much treated like commodities who need to overwork, so you wont get to truly savour it.

Cons

People - seem great at first - but are unhappy. They are also highly insecure because of ever changing culture and leadership. Leaders and others often engage in petty politics, silo working, gossip, favouritism, information hoarding . No authenticity and walking the talk here. Limitless working hours- You have to be at the beck and call of the members and even the management. Expect emails, messages and calls at all odd hours, even if you are sick. Sadly, due to the inherent insecurity, management encourages this practice. No career planning or development - Forget about long term career planning. People have been in the same roles here for 10/15 years with no increase in concrete skill sets or responsibilities. Pretty much a dead end. Lack of respect- You are treated like a replaceable commodity, not something which is a hallmark of a great organization.

Being able to work with colleagues and members all over the world is one of the many reasons YPO is a great place to work. We will make sure your concerns are heard though.

Pros

Learning environment, opportunity to work on projects/work to build your skillset, part of CEO's learning journey.

Cons

Lots of backstabbing and egos amongst CEOs. ELT members in relationships with members and have the ability to manipulate outcomes that favor their preference.
