Pros
People are the best thing about Yale University: they are dedicated, hardworking, and for the most part, friendly and professional. They also take on much more work they one can possibly handle in a 40 hours/week job. Management is, for the most part, supportive of IC's initiatives, as long as they don't get in the way of the normal course of business. Benefits are excellent, and there is so much going on at Yale that it is easy to spend a lot more time on campus than you would in other work environments.
Cons
Management is somewhat inconsistent at leading people, and the decision making process can be quite lenghty because of long established organizational politics. In that wake, the work environment turns poisonous and people lose motivation--normally just temporarily. As long as you know how handle those situations, you should be fine; otherwise, expect long days and lots of anxiety.
