Pros

Grateful for the opportunity to gain exposure to the recruitment and HR domain. Learned about ATS usage, handling different hiring roles, and end-to-end hiring processes. Got practical exposure and a certain level of authority and responsibility at work. Helped in building self-confidence and gaining valuable knowledge. Half an hour buffer time in the morning as part of office timing.

Cons

Extremely stressful and toxic work environment. Frequent unpaid overtime and working on weekends without compensation. Presence of humiliation, harassment, mental torture, and use of foul or abusive language. Unrealistic expectations and unachievable targets, creating constant pressure. No proper guidance, training, or support from seniors, expected to learn everything on your own. No job security and constant fear of performance-based pressure. The job can seriously impact mental and physical health. False promises made before joining regarding work culture and working days. Interviewers misrepresent the actual culture and workload during hiring. Mandatory requirement to carry the office laptop home every day, making after-hours work unavoidable. Continuous pressure even after office hours.
