Pros

Like anywhere, you will meet some great people. There is some degree of anonymity but whether that is a good thing overall is to be debated.

Cons

A toxic, highly politicized environment with questionable priorities and minimal support for faculty and staff. Inclusion often feels superficial, and the culture makes it difficult to feel valued or to do principled academic work. Leadership priorities appear driven by revenue-generating programs rather than educational integrity, creating real concern for students, faculty, and staff. Morale is extremely low, and many question the long-term sustainability of the institution. There is a significant gap between public messaging around values and the lived experience of faculty and staff, which undermines trust and credibility.
