Pros
- Loved my direct manager, mid level management overall at Yotpo really seemed to care and help you when needed. - Work/life balance was nice, I was never asked to work after normal hours or on weekends like alot of tech companies - Compensation was fair and KPIs were typically attainable - As long as you meet your goals, it wasn't micro-managey - Lots of collateral and documentation
Cons
- Onboarding was tough, for a quick learner, I feel like it took a while to become an "expert" in everything. - When I was hired, I was only meant to work on one product line but that quickly changed and it grew difficult to keep up with all the changes and updates across 4+ product lines - Constantly changing tools to cut costs means critical resources get moved or deleted - Senior Leadership built a false sense of security for employees in the Austin office when we went from 1 day in office a month to none, this caused some panic but we were assured our jobs were secure. - They laid off our entire office and then proceeded to rehire for less compensation/ move everything to low touch/overseas a year later. - Felt like they could have done better with ensuring remote offices got the same recognition and opportunities as those in NYC office who get that face time.
