      Pros

      ZIM have fair HR policies, which align with the local market. It is a very black and white working environment which often works as a positive in a number of situations. Support from local management and HK regional logistics team is top notch! One day working home policy does assist with lifestyle requirements, especially for a busy parent with two young children.

      Cons

      Due to the black and white nature of the working environment, some ZIM business units do seem restricted in their ability to perform their roles effectively at times, this being both a positive and negative depending on where you sit in the business. It was disappointing to see that one of the first items to be cut during the economic downturn was staff functions and not other items of business expenditure like non-essential business travel.

      Pros

      Employees are very understanding of new hires and do their best to help. HR helps a lot with the intern program, and it is very helpful.

      Cons

      Early on it takes a couple days to receive access to all applications. I understand that it is hard to have that all ready, but it would be helpful.

      Stable company that is easy to manage. Work life balance is great

      Cons

      Management through and through. Working in the US for an Israeli company is not like working for a US company. Simple as that. Pay is poor Micromanagement and reporting Old school in the worst ways
