Pros

Dog friendly office Catered lunches

Cons

As others have pointed out, the favoritism and nepotism are insane. When I worked there, there was no work from home allowed, and if there ever was (like when the power went out, which it did constantly because I believe the owners son did all the work), you were micromanaged to death. If you didn't immediately reply on Slack, you were hounded. The office events were painful, because they are so into their company culture. If you are an introvert, you are pretty much ostracized because if you leave a party or a half work day, everyone comments on it. If you have a doctor's appointment, or need to get your kid from school, you have to work through lunch, no leniency. You are micromanaged to the nth degree, no matter what you do. There are genuinely good and talented people there, but most of the people are toxic.

Pros

Certain employees can be really helpful and are actively making things better.

Cons

Low pay, benefits are sub par compared to other companies. Most managers were hired or promoted with minimal experience or knowledge leading to failures across the board in all departments. Owner and VPs etc encourage a frat house mentality. It’s all about who is friends with who and doesn’t complain. Blatant HR/OSHA violations all the time. They also tend to only higher current college students/ straight out of college because they don’t know any better.
