Pros

Reasonably smart individuals in the company Innovation in pockets (software development) If you sell it, or develop it (you can work on it). [Though raw entrepreneurship is starting to be discouraged] Nice new offices in some locations

Cons

Quality of people and process is going down. More hiring from tier 2, 3, 4 schools in U.S. and India Quality of average project (in terms of new learning and innovation) is decreasing Quality of leadership at the senior levels is suspect. Most are home grown, with limited prior industry/work/leadership experience; resulting in a myopic and skewed view of the world. No bench, to focus on profitability results in long and hard working hours plus impacts the quality of work with limited focus on R&D Focus more on style than substance. Try to sell work that firm has never done, or has limited experience in; and then figure out later how to do it. Sell first, deliver later..
