Great Role, Great Company - College Consultant Zenith Prep Academy Employee Review

I feel supported by management, there are clear expectations for success in my role, and I very much enjoy working with my families. My role at Zenith doesn’t feel like a job; it feels like a career—the company is invested in helping us succeed so that we can deliver outstanding service to our families. My time is respected by the company. I only have two internal meetings a week, a valuable weekly all-team webinar, and an equally valuable weekly one-on-one with my manager. That’s it. These meetings are highly impactful and I look forward to them every week. I have a great manager who offers support without micromanaging. The company is doing a good job of documenting processes and procedures, as well as providing up-to-date resources. This is not something you would typically find at a smaller company. The company is also well-run, and I respect all of the senior managers. The work-life balance allows me to feel refreshed and energized for my meetings with my families, and generally just perform better than I would if I had to adhere to a strict schedule and go into an office. The work itself is very satisfying - I get to help students become the best versions of themselves so that can explore and gain expertise in their interests while succeeding in school. Many of my families are unfamiliar with navigating the US higher education system, so I also feel I am doing them a valuable service by demystifying the admissions process for them and outlining clear objectives for success. If you have industry experience and enjoy mentorship, this is a great role and a great company for you.
