Pros
- Some genuinely great colleagues - Remote working flexibility
Cons
If you are seeking a toxic environment with poor leadership, excessive workloads, no career progression, and broken promises, this is the place for you. The negative reviews here are entirely accurate. Positive reviews, on the other hand, are largely manufactured, often solicited from favoured employees, and should be treated with skepticism. Expect constant tracking of your hours, frequent micromanagement, and a culture where speaking up or challenging the status quo will put a target on your back. Dismissals are often arbitrary, based not on performance but on whether leadership “likes” you. The person most senior who is in charge of people epitomises the dysfunction. Widely disrespected and distrusted, prone to gaslighting, undermining, and publicly throwing employees under the bus, they have reduced multiple colleagues to tears and contributed to breakdowns through their toxic behaviour. There is also a pattern of sudden, unexplained departures. Brilliant employees disappear overnight, their accounts deactivated without warning or explanation. Job security here is precarious, and you are treated as disposable. The much-touted “unlimited annual leave” is misleading. In reality, you will be penalised for taking more than the statutory minimum, and any additional days will be clawed back from your final salary when you leave. A traditional leave policy would be far more honest and transparent. The only way to be content at Zepz is not to work here at all.
