Cons
Restructured the company and changed peoples job titles knowing full well that they were going to fire people. Weaponized PIPs so they can say "we don't lay people off!" and somehow sleep at night. You should not be proud that you weaponize PIPs to avoid laying people off. Said "AI is your friend, it's not going to take your job" LOL Put me on a PIP for missing deadlines even though I communicated that my father in law was in hospice. Didn't care a single iota. Did not even feign concern. Literally just made me feel deficient for loving my family to the point that it affected my work. There wasn't any effort or mechanism to support me, only punishment. There was NEVER an avenue to get promoted for anyone. The most stagnant organization I ever worked for. It got so bad that they actually started telling us "while we can't promote anyone or give anyone raises, you CAN do extra work across departments and brag about developing your skills. That pays the bills, right?"
