Pros

The boots-on-the-ground team members have a sense of comradery and understand what the others are going through (a trauma bond if you will). The perks are through the roof - free snacks, drinks, coffee, lunches, and merch. If you want to feel that your love is being bought, this is perfect for you!

Cons

Unless you act as a "yes man", you will be passed up for promotions and raises. Asking questions and trying to make improvements, will only lead to strikes against you. Those who want to play the passive-aggressive game will thrive in this environment. There is no sense of work/life balance and it's expected that they make up for this in perks and benefits. Pay is below market value for every position (except the C-Suite, of course).

Pros

Absolutely 0 - this place will ruin your mental and physical health.

Cons

Where to begin? Senior leadership is extremely toxic and insecure, resulting in hiring and firing people on a whim. They will seek you out, recruit you out of no where, make you move to Indianapolis, and then once you've contributed enough of your skills to help Ashley succeed/look good, they will either fire you out of no where, or make your job so impossible, you leave for the sake of not losing your sanity. Extremely talented people are gaslit every day and treated so poorly by individuals who have 0 experience in media/journalism and definitely have no business being in senior leadership at a company like Audiochuck. If you think the recent Call Her Daddy news was bad, it pales in comparison to what happens at Audiochuck. At least CHD doesn't pretend to "love people" and advocate for victims and survivors in every episode's call to action. Audiochuck does, and in the background, Ashley and team treats employees like inanimate objects that can be tossed out at any moment. And finally, any "positive" reviews you see here are most likely from the same person trying to up the ratings. Take them with a grain of salt and strongly consider taking another job instead of working here.
