Pros
I have worked in multiple MSP's in the area, and from my personal experiences have had a better time here than other companies of similar size. -Issues I have raised for concern have been discussed and actioned in some situations if able to -Pay has been reviewed on multiple occasions (moreso than other companies) and at times without having had to ask for it before hand. -My personal situations with availability for office work and home work have been addressed and catered for when I needed it -I have felt more cared for as a member of staff than other companies and not just a number -There is overtime opportunities that can be opted in and out of (depending on the role, and also this could be seen as a positive or negative depending on who you ask)
Cons
All jobs have problems, if it was perfect and had no problems, there wouldn't be a job going. -I do feel like I need to work more than I am contracted to at times in order to stay on top of work load (However, I have not been asked to, and when I have asked if I can have overtime I've been given it) -Staff turnover has been quite high (There has been a clique of staff that have left in unison which has caused additional stress to the helpdesk and not helped with this) -The balance between completing projects and helpdesk simultaneously has been quite difficult -Client relations often promise things to clients without checking with the engineering staff on their availability prior to this. No additional box to put this: A couple of man children who were unable to work as a team or let go and move on (or work their notice period like decent human beings) after bitterly sabotaging a number of areas in the company would like to also add defamation to their resume and have left quite exadurated reviews. So I would like to provide a current review with both the positives and negatives as they currently are as a current staff member.
