Pros
50% discount Product is decent I work in a boutique with a great staff and management, but if you aren't so lucky you will be miserable When you get a good client and actually make them feel better about themselves, it's gratifyin Hourly pay for entry level was pretty good when I started
Cons
Upper management (District/Regional Managers & Trainers) are on power trips and walk a fine line when it comes to speaking to workers in boutiques. They are extremely catty and takl about us all behind our backs and try to get information about employees by being sneaky. Attendance policy is way too strict. If you are even a minute late, you get penalized. If you call out for any reason you get an "occurence"- 3 of them is a write up. Yes, even car accidents, family member dying (happened to me), family emergency, They are ridiculous about numbers and metrics. We have to make a sales goal every day/week/month, which is reasonable, but also have to keep an average of $50 and item per transaction of 3. Basically we have to be very pushy. Recently they told us if we can't make our numbers they will write us up. Wonderful motivation. All in all, this is extremely stressful for a part time job. This company, in my opinion, will not last much longer.
