Pros
The way they train their boutique associates promotes empathy for customers and also to create more of a friendship with each customer rather than treating them as simply a transaction. Most boutique managers also promote a zero-tolerance policy for gossip or "bullying" so it's a much more of a stress-free work place than most.
Cons
It is true that if you get the wrong management you may not be thrilled.
