Pros

Smart and dedicated leadership. The leadership team at closerlook continually focuses on improving the work that the agency does for their clients. They ensure that the teams are equipped to be trusted advisors to the clients, and are dedicated to our clients’ success, not just closerlook’s success. The employees are always striving to bring the most relevant and impactful marketing solutions to the clients. There is no good-is-good enough attitude at closerlook. closerlook is as close to a meritocracy as any company I’ve worked at. Office politics are low compared to other agencies. Kind, fun culture: As with any marketing agency, there is no shortage of stressful times. What’s different about closerlook is that they get through these times by supporting each other, laughing, and focusing on the goal, not the distractions. The company also provides events and other opportunities for the staff to take a break, have fun, and get to know each other separate from the work itself. Recent investment in Operations to ensure company and client success. Competitive benefits

Cons

As with many growing companies, closerlook added layers of approval to ensure quality as it onboarded an increasing number of new employees. While this has kept quality high, the staff isn’t consistently able to deliver work to its clients as quickly as they and closerlook would like it to be delivered. The good news is that the leaders have taken ownership of this challenge and are putting great effort and focus on it, working side-by-side with their employees to address it.
