The staff built tight bonds because of the situation they were in. It was a good company to work your way up in, as the high turnover meant there were often opportunities coming available and the staff all trained each other so you could progress if you worked hard enough.
Cons
Terrible management. People running the company were awful to work for, with no idea how to treat staff appropriately, female staff treated particularly badly.
The staff were often overbooked and having to work ridiculously hard to satisfy clients who were barely paying anything for their services.
